Lumewave provides innovative, standards based wireless solutions for control and monitoring of existing and immerging lighting technologies, provide enhanced public safety, and multi-level control of luminaires by command, schedule or occupancy response. Continuously refining fixture health reporting, power quality and revenue grade usage tracking, as well as integration into Smart Grid will support our mission forward.
Lumewave markets a wireless, remote control and monitoring system for street lights, parking lot, site and pathway lighting. This system will provide additional savings through the use of various nighttime dimming or switching profiles during evening hours, as well as verifying system performance and diagnostic information for individual fixtures.
New outdoor LED light fixtures, Induction, Plasma, and electronic HID ballasts in light fixtures are bringing down those costs, stimulating new savings strategies and bringing new capabilities to light.
Demand responsive, the ability to accept motion detector and Emergency Call Button inputs, Lumewave products also provide additional benefits for public safety uses, bringing lighting to brighter than normal levels to aid investigations, administering of emergency aid and event clean up. They can also be tied to 911 or Emergency Call Buttons to signal locations, or even evacuation routes or detours. In parks, parking lots, and pathways to them, motion detectors can bring up light levels for safety when people or vehicles enter the covered area.
Using Lumewave's Gateway and LumeStar Software allows the user to identify and control devices installed on fixtures. Simple tree based drop down menus give users the ability to choose control functions and group assignments. Adjustment of photocell thresholds, additional time of day functions, scheduling of performance, failure reports and work order details are simply set up and managed. Group, device or system overrides are commanded through the software and Gateway.
With the ability to communicate up to 5 miles line of sight, with over a million devices, even today's most demanding projects are easily managed. Lumewave's TOP900 series Wireless Control Modules offer a ½" threaded nipple device which brings all power and control wiring in through the fixture photocell receptacle, pole cap or tenon. No additional penetration of the fixture is required. A three bladed, twist lock version is also available to simply replace existing photocells. ANSI 136.10, normally closed, 1,800 VA contacts perform fail-safe switching duties. Stepped switched Induction control, Plasma, or 0 to 10 Vdc dimming for LED and eHID fixtures allows customers to fully utilize the capabilities of the fixtures they buy.
